It doesn't really count but I woke up at 3:30 to study. And that sad thing is, that hasn't been an uncommon occurrence over the past coule months. I don't even know what it would be like to take an exam on more than 5 hours sleep, and it's usually only 3-4!

I try to convince myself that I really need these "study breaks" but I'm really just procrastinating. It's not as bad as it was in high school and college, but that's only because the fear of actually failing something has increased dramatically.

Confession: I am completely unprepared for next week--academically and emotionally. And now that I know what studying for exams entails, it makes it that much worse. Now I understand why ~1/3 of all med students are on antidepressants.

Confession: I didn't leave my apartment at all today. I didn't even go to church. :-( I got up and took a shower and got ready, and then put my pajamas back on and started studying. I haven't seen another person today. Weird! At least I talked to my mom on the phone for a little bit.
