You're forgetting about the law of unintended consequences. The minimum wage law led to outsourcing of jobs to third world countries. More regulation would lead to a continued exodus of unskilled labor from the US. I don't think BP will exist much longer. Their market capitalization is going down th...

I could also comment that there isn't a choice on this poll of not cleaning it up. After all, evaporation is a nice process.

I expect a meltdown will not happen with better technology - Generation III and IV reactors. They are extremely unlikely to melt down, with Generation III reactors having one core damage event generally occurring in the range of one every 15 to 20 million years to one in every 300 to 350 million yea...

There are 104 operable nuclear power plants in the United States, and they produce a total sum of 101,119 megawatts of power. This is equivalent to 19.7% of our electric production. And out of these 104 plants, we have had only one error - TMI. Chernobyl isn't a concern, as I've stated before, that ...

To be honest, it would be a lot easier to just start bashing people, but that's a waste of time. Just posting pictures will not solve the problem. What the United States needs is nuclear power. Nuclear power is the safest form of electricity to date in the United States. There have been 0 deaths dir...

Well, maybe we should give BP executives a bigger bonus.

Or maybe Exxon Mobil should execute a hostile takeover of BP as it has lost $62.7 billion in market capitalization.

I hate people who lie to me. This is because I try my best to be honest (my signature shows my definition of lying), and I expect people to be honest to me in return. And when someone believes that lie to be true, it gets bigger and bigger, as best said in a proverb, "What a tangled web we weav...

For every 100 grams of sucrose, you basically have 50 grams of fructose when the sucrose molecule is broken down. For every 100 grams of HFCS 55, you have 55 grams of fructose. Doesn't seem like much of a difference.
