Re: Theoretical physics

Yeah, so I'm a total NoOB and I was wondering if anyone could take the time to try and explain the basics of theoretical physics for me, or at least tell me where I could attempt to learn it. Or at the least least tell me what sort of math I'd need to know to begin to understand it. How old are you...

The bible says masterbating is bad ... Actually, no. The Bible says _zero_ on the subject of masturbation. The passage quoted by priests and parents is from Genesis 38, and the sin of Onan was coitus interruptus, his refusal to produce a child to be credited to his dead brother's family. Jewish law...

The idea is involved with Original Sin, which is inherited from one's parents at conception, all the way back to Adam and Eve....

I'm not sure it's possible to do this discussion PG. I've been trying to figure out how to correct some misconceptions (no pun intended) "delicately", and keep embarrassing myself in my tries.

Why don't people get impregnated while still a virgin? Because if a girl said that, we could prove she conceived it. DUH! Of course she conceived it, if she was pregnant: so did Mary conceive her baby "by the power of the Holy Spirit". The point of the virginity is that the Holy Spirit di...

I liked Worthing until the end, however, with FotF I hated it from just about the first page. Well I really really liked the first "chapter" (don't know what else to call them), until it started getting grotesquely mormon. I don't have a problem with mormon characters, but when the author...

You'd know that historically nonmuslims in muslim empires were not killed, they were often merely forced to pay higher taxes. In Koranic theory, sorta.
