I find it surprising that there is a good number of Americans are on Standard Time instead of Daylight Savings.

On a related note: England doesn't have Daylight Savings Time, does it? Is it just an America thing?

I read it when you first posted it. But I don't really have much to say. No offense, but I found it to be really boring. It's probably just because I'm not really fond of war stories in the first place. I don't feel anything for the characters. What happens? Some guy fights in a battle that appears ...

Ah, well, that second part makes sense in some way I guess, about the "second coming" then. But why for a millenium? Why not for eternity? Will there be a cycle-like thing that keeps on going, 2,000 years in between a 1,000 year period of world peace? I imagine because after that, God, as...

Azarel, you just said everything I was thinking. This saves on typing. :) I just want to add that seems like God is cruel and unfair for the same reason we, as children, may have thought our parents were cruel and unfair. As we grow physically, we realize, "Oh, they were looking out for us the ...

I was totally baffled once. One lady was arguing with us on my mission, and she said the only thing we need to do is be saved is to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. (in hindsight, why was she even arguing with us? Was her point that we will be condemned for doing more? ) We asked if such a person ...

I would say that there is a huge difference between you giving forgiveness and God (or alternatively, the Justice system) giving forgiveness. I believe that we should forgive everyone. We need to move on, and the bitterness of holding on to it will only bring us down. However, that doesn't mean the ...
