One thing I've found is that many, many people make a huge, emphatic distinction between "soul" and "spirit", yet I am not sure if anyone has ever been able to clearly articulate to me exactly what that distinction is and why it is so important. I am personally more apt to treat ...

I'm thankful that I'm understanding Latin.

I'm also thankful that I have a good Hebrew prof who appears to be quite patient for those of us who just don't understand it.

I do have one good friend and I'm slowly developing more, but I need to remember how to study again. And I need to do it. Anyway, for now I need a nap because I was up too late in the prev...

I'd say that it's not so much that I'...

Book Club Rules - Revised

Okay, since the rules for the old book club have been lost with the boards, we have composed a new set of rules. Choosing a Book We have decided to revise the rules of how we run the book club. Instead of having a vote and pestering people to vote on a short list, Kelly and I will select one which w...

You never defined your flower. You just said a flower, so I defined it for you and told you that I've chosen a poisonous one. Also, if there's a messy coup d'état, the city will be destroyed if the people want it or not. Or, with more poison, if everyone is dead, that's as good as destroyed.

Arrange a messy coup d'état that involves feeding datura/aconite/pick your favourite to leader.

Or if you use more than one flower, apply it to a major water source.

It means you succeeded in writing a 50,000 word novel in one month. I have yet to do this. And as much as it would be neat to try this year, I'm not sure that my schedule will allow it.

Edit: was it 50,000 or 10,000? For some reason I can't remember. Probably because I've never won.

If I recall correctly, there are three levels above the utter seperation from God reserved for those who knew the full truth and turned away from it. The highest is for those who followed God as well as they could and received the ordinances as Mormons. Here they are in God's full presence, I believ...

As much as I enjoyed reading some of Cassandra Claire's Draco Trilogy until it took forever to get out and I lost interest, I would generally prefer not to do fanfiction. Least of all fanfiction that has its first publication on the internet.
