I disagree that "truths transcend reason." Rather, I think that reason stems from truth. Truth and reason are inseperable.

Another way you can make chai is to take all those ingredients, throw them into a pot of milk, steam the milk, and then strain it through a cheesecloth. Oh, and the ingredient amounts are fairly (borderline entirely) flexible. The only real requirements are tea (although darjeeling, or at least blac...

I say the entire west coast should secede from Canada and America and form "Pacifica".
That's pretty much what Cascadia is. Alberta, BC, Washington, Oregon, and California would all seperate and form their own country.

But we won't conclude at all, then. Anyway, I tend to think that we have been approaching religion fairly logically within a framework here.

You'd be amazed at how non-conclusive logic can be. EL, I think lyons was saying that people who call themselves Christians and who are not JWs are "wanting to have their ears tickled" and that they "accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires" and God &...

I mean, I can understand not wanting Quebec to be too closely associated with Canada - somehow, they manage to give Canaducks an even worse name, right? *snrk* That aside, from what I understand, Harper is recognising the Quebec people as a nation, much like how any people group forms a nation, wit...

Alrighty folks, it's time for another book. Both Kelly and I were swamped last month, so our apologies for no November book, however for December there shall be a book. Yeah, that's PRO. R-expressions are nouns that can not be bound ever. So "coffee" is an R-expression, or "Joel". I can't remember what the R stands for, though. I generally find it easier to just say that PRO assigns a null case and be done with it.

I'd respond to your earlier analogy, but at the moment Hebrew has eaten my brain so I am unable to parse it. However, you have suggested a new set of questions. First, I believe that the Bible, in its entirety, is divinely inspired. Further, I believe that every last part of it must be divinely insp...
