I like how there's a "I don't like them as much as the movies" option, and a "I haven't heard of Harry Potter" option, but no "I don't like Harry Potter in general" option.
There was one. It didn't show up.

The Harry Potter 5 thread has me curious. Which one's your favorite?

Weird how OoTP seems to polarize Harry Potter fans. The first time I read the book, the angst drove me batty. I really wanted to just punch Harry in the face, and continue the rest of the book with him passed out on the floor. The second time through, it got moved to the top of the list. So... If y...

OotP is most definitely my favorite book in the series, so far, which means I'll probably find a whole lot wrong with the movie no matter what they do...

I have to agree that Harry's hair is far to short and Umbridge doesn't look enough like a toad.

spamming is fine in a small forum
How'd someone get the name Peter Wiggin, anyways? I thought that would have been one of the first on the ban list... I'd say that comment's grounds for deleting the account and locking the name.

I looked at my version on a bigger screen and the icons look like crap. Why did no one tell me this? *fixes* Edit: Alright, I put back in the original icons (with different colors) because the ones I was using (the ones from this style) didn't look very good. At all. Edit More: Now that I'm looking ...

I'm willing to make changes, if people have suggestions. I'd also be willing to make a less dark version in the future. (Not right now. As it is, I should have spent the time working on this cutting into my mountain of homework...) The point of this one was to keep some continuity between the front ...

...we have a facebook pweb group...
That reminds me; I went to put all those links back in my sig, and the profile page bit me for them making my sig too long. I can't complain too much, though, as I do like the idea of a sig limit... I just wish it didn't count the codes.

One of the nicest features about this forum software is the ability to install multiple themes and allow users to pick the one they prefer.

I set up phpBB on my own server and started screwing around with the template.

Any thoughts? Comments? Willingness to install a new theme?

September 9, 2005. I just hit the one year mark when the old PWEB was taken down.
And now we know why it went down... Is spamming a big enough offense to get banned? Please?

Edit: Or, maybe, a personalized flood limit? You know, like, a month?

It's certainly possible; it just may require modifications to phpBB.
I've used phpBB before, and I could swear there was a little check box in there to turn off post count in certain forums. But maybe that was a different piece of software...

Zev's out of the country serving a Mission, and has been for over a year :)
So I've noticed. I almost said, "was the tech guy," but I figured someone would bite me for that, too.

Then again, maybe I could just be made an Admin so I can add Kermit back in myself. Eh? I'd really rather not have to be a mod, just an admin, so I can play with making a somehow Pweb-esque style sheet for our new, properly functioning software. Zev's the tech guy, I wanna' be the aethstetics guy.

*looks to the left* Taal, get to work importing the old emoticons. It's not really Pweb until we have Stoned Kermit back.
