EL, I've printed a copy of your story out. I'm going to put it on my tool box at work next to the rectal thermometer email. Whenever my job gets rough, I'll remind myself of your clients.

II: Computer animated movies. Yes, they're better written than the old inked movies. But that could be fixed by making better written inked features. Don't get me wrong, CG looks great, but so does ink. Now they're all but gone. Thankfully we still get a stop motion flick every now and then. GP: My ...

Dead Winners

http://www.adn.com/news/education/story/8351600p-8247091c.html I've been searching news sites reading about dead candidates who still won whatever seat they were running for and found this article. It says originally there was a tie between the two candidates, one of whom died the day of the electi...

http://msnbc.msn.com/id/15643614/ The gist of this story goes like a man, celebrating Bonfire Night in the UK, inserted a firecracker into his bum. Then lit it. His mates, being good chaps, caught the proceeding explosion on thier mobil phone cameras before calling paramedics. I don't believe he'll...

Goward's "Jelly Bellies" Memo

http://www.cantonrep.com/index.php?ID=318478&Category=14&subCategoryID= Reading this article all the way through paints a picture of an all around overbearing boss. I'm not really posting about that problem. I'm wondering if anyone thinks that this act alone was too strong. I don't believe ...

The Problem of Stilson

An important aspect to Ender's character is the guilt he carries with him over everything he's done to hurt someone. Particularly taking down Stilson. Talk of an EG movie always makes me nervous because I can't imagine a mainstream hollywood film with one 5 yr old beating the tar out of (later to be...

I like the mini-series idea myself. Especially since most of the talk says the movie will be a combonation of EG & ES. Six to eight hours could develop the characters to the scale OSC is known for, a 2 hour feature film will rely too heavily on the kids in space effects.

Re: ...so the rest of the world would be empty?

Seriously? Is that what an average American thinks? That we all want to live in your country? The average american I've talked with doesn't seem to concerned with what the rest of the world wants. I've brought up the topic of 'the rest of the worlds opinion on the USA' with several people at work, ...
