The forum software counts them. I'd love to see them discounted, myself, but I don't even know if that's possible. It's certainly possible ; it just may require modifications to phpBB. Since I came in so late to the party, there were so many threads I saw I immediately thought "oh, they managed to save the old threads this time." Then I just realized I just had a hella lotta reading to do to catch up. Gah.
