While browsing CNN during Circ time, I came across an article on the next installment of Batman that had a picture of Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Marion Cotillard and the first thought I had made me really sad for the fact that I'm not in more regular contact with my local friends. They're the only pe...

The entire Philadelphia area remembers it. It should be illegal to show it in the area. I have finally backed off my Blue Jay hate because it HAS been 18 years, they haven't made the playoffs in forever, I hate the Yankees and Red Sox more, but mostly because they gave the Phillies Roy Halliday.

Grrr. They just showed a commercial of Patrick Kane scoring the last goal of the Stanley Cup. I just realized that I am going to be haunted by that goal just like I am haunted by Joe Carter's homerun in 1993. That f****** sucks.

Kristen, I agree with your logic if the desert likes being a desert. It wouldn't miss the rain because if it got too much rain than it wouldn't be a desert anymore. But what if it was one of those self-hating deserts. And it didn't want to be a desert anymore. I think then it would miss the rain dea...

I have often wondered if I am real or not.

I've met Alea, which certainly counts. And I also know all of the (ex-)Philly Boys in meat space. But I knew all of them before I joined P-Web. Is this cheating? Do they count? Am I real?

*laugh* I was just thinking this yesterday. I was also wondering what your services would cost should I want you to cheer for one of my teams but I ultimately decided you're probably out of my price range. It is clearly cheaper and much more effective to ask me to cheer against your team. It is nea...

I agree with Syphon about the gaps. They will always bring up questions. And stretching things to relevancy might not be a bad thing. I have a tech job that involves zero customer/client interaction. But they loved that I had experience working in customer service type roles during the interview. An...

I loathe having to take night showers. It has to be morning showers. I don't feel like myself until I shower. I took a night shower last night and I feel gross right now.

I'm a fan of the Tourney. Two of my favorite days of the year are the first two days. Non-stop basketball, there are always a couple crazy upsets and buzzer beaters and when one of the days falls on St. Paddy's, even better. Unfortunately I am not able to take off work this year and enjoy myself. I ...

I don't know if it is just how the rain hits the windows/sills in my bedroom or because it was also very windy, but I did not enjoy the rain last night. I usually love getting warm under the covers while there is a good hard rain falling outside, but it sounded much louder than I'm used. Not appreci...

Personally, I would be inclined to go with audiobook, though. A really, really interesting one with a complicated plot. That will force you to pay attention to it instead of to what they're doing. My thoughts exactly. I would need something interesting/complicated enough to distract me from what is...

I've been secretly watching all of Avatar , and I can say that it is really good. The first season ("book," if you're annoyingly insistent) didn't hook me at first, but no one has ever said I'm not persistent at looking for good shows, and the second season really got me hooked, meaning I...

I have about an hour and a half until lunch, but your food pics are causing some serious cravings. And I doubt I'm going to get anything that tastes as good as the bread/muffin/pasta pics look.

Wow. Was I ever wrong about Vick. Forget all of the off the field stuff, man is he fun to watch. The Eagles haven't been this fun to watch since 2004 and they might be the most exciting team that they have ever had.

Also, I heart the Flyers.

Really Jan, if it's a boy, and he's born on my birthday, I think you almost have to name him after me. Same name, same birthday, and here's the real crazy part... my mom's name is Janis!
I think it would be weird to name a kid neo-dragon.

Go Rangers ! E.P. you're Phillies made a damn fine showing this year! Maybe this is what it is like to be a spoiled sports fan because I don't think it was a great showing. On paper, this was the best team that they have had in the past three years. On paper, this was the worst crop of playoff team...

Dear You,

Over the past two years, I have been to six playoff victories. I have watched them win a world series. I don't care about the first round of the playoffs. I'd rather hang out with you. This is a once in a life time experience.
