Fixed that for you.The nice thing about my last job was, we (single coverage people) paid nothing out of our checks had our cash wages reduced to pay for the best plan they offered, which was, surprisingly, really good.

Elf, I am looking at the higher deductible plan. It's probably a fairly decent price actually, but, like many things in Grown-Up World, I am still surprised at how much it costs. Is the HDHP an "HSA-eligible" plan? If so, you'll be able to deposit (pre-tax) money into a health savings acc...

I guess I would fall into the category of a white person with only white friends, but I am pretty sure that's more of a side effect of only living places that are 90% white. Do you think that 40% of white people live in a place that is predominantly white? There are many counties in my state where ...

That's really good to know, paperback version it is. I'd get it eventually anyways, I like to have a hard copy of all the series I really like. But that just means I won't be getting the kindle version at all haha There's an unabridged version for Kindle, as well. But you have to be sure to select ...

Re: Those Personal Triumphs No One Else Will Ever Understand
Oh, I understand their justification. I just think it's a poorly worded question. SO GLAD that when I took the LSAT, the logic games (one of my best sections) were not designed like that. I would have done much worse, if they had been worded that way. I would have thought your answer of 9 was more a...

The possible answers sound bogus to me. You know that otters (1) are in one cage. You know that otters cannot be in the same cage as egrets. You also know that finches can only be in cages with antelopes. That leaves only parrots (2) that can go with the otters. You know that you have two sets of fi...

Thoroughly going over every missed question and understanding what I did wrong. Don't forget to go over the questions you got right, too, to make sure you understand what you did correctly. After all, you might get an answer right by luck, rather than by knowing how to answer the question. I will s...

Chicago won't let store owners possess firearms. They have to resort to fighting off armed attackers with baseball bats. Luckily, the attacker in this case was a very, very bad shot. Most of these stories don't have a happy ending.

Given the significant amount of gang activity (which has been present for 20+ years) at one of the schools, that was something we tried to look into as much as possible. (Even though we have no children, yet.) You can never be 100% sure, but I checked old zoning maps to see how the school lines had ...

We're moving the dining room table over tomorrow, which is going to be the big thing that determines what goes where. We don't have a dining room, so we have to see if it will fit in the ...

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make, or what point you think the author is making. Is the point you're trying to make is that reasonable people cannot disagree about what constitutes "redefining marriage?" Surely it's not. There are people who oppose SSM and still support civil u...

That said, I can't quite understand how the quoted passages from...
