I don't know if the term "binky" annoys her per se, but my SIL never uses the term so I feel rather self-conscious when I say it in her presence. Generally, pacifier gets abbreviated to "paci" in their house.

I've read all of them. I liked the fourth one, but the others were just alright. I don't think you're missing anything great by not reading the newer ones, but they don't ruin the story either.
