We're under the impression that if his newscast wins it's category, everyone nominated on it would get a statue. And there are only 3 in his category (his tornado show, a hurricane Irene retrospective and a Superbowl Sunday show.)

Its a regional Emmy nomination for the newscast he helped put together for the big tornadoes in west NC in March.

We just bought season tickets to the theater in Charlotte.

Cat bite is doing so much better! No more swelling. Redness only directly around the punctures. Very minimal pain
No more heat.

I got bitten by a cat at work yesterday. This is my first ever real animal bite. I've had glancing blows but this is awful.
