Limeade. Only Limeade.
CA limeade. Anything else is just plain silly.

Bevis, here, have some limeade, courtesy of the Canadian Alliance.

I nearly always try to avoid cracks in the sidewalk. Not really a superstition, I suppose, since I don't think anything will happen if I do, but I just don't for some reason.

("Nearly" always, because the other times I deliberately step on them to try and shake my habit.)

One of my favourite poems, a classic by William Carlos Williams

This is just to say
!!!

I love this poem. I first heard it in a high school English class, and have loved it ever since. Thank you for reminding me of it.

Oh, and wahoo, Slim is back! Here is your limeade, courtesy of the CA.

Yes, all Macs are techincally PCs, but in this case, the term PC refers to computers running a non-Apple operating system ...

Technically speaking Macs are PCs. Since the term PC means personal computer, and a Mac is nothing more than a personal computer, Except that the term PC almost always refers to "IBM PC Compatible" (or at least has since that computer was made), which runs on an x86 architecture, and almo...

My advice: Don't bother with Digital Fortress.
I second this. Though I haven't read Brown's other works, so I can't say much else about the rest of what Mahatma wrote, but I do agree that Fortress, well, sucked.

Re: Relationships aren't *all* bad...

I mean, some of us have to be in good relationships, right? And some of us are just so beyond the breakup that thinking about the good memories doesn't hurt anymore. I like this thread, because it reminded me to think of the better memories with my ex. Usually all I can remember is hurtful stuff, a...

I rather like the e-dating scheme. Today is [ae]16.07.08 (in my time zone, at least).

And M/D/Y makes no sense, for the record. I prefer Y/M/D to it. Or possibly D M Y, with the month spelled out. Like `8 Oct 2006'. There, no ambiguity whatsoever.
