I'm wondering about the custom-titles, too. Some users have their own, some don't. Is that something from the older pweb, or can you still create your own title?*sigh* I was hoping this would be explaining the awesome new custom-titles tradition.

Couples who have to eat eachother in the halls in plain sight inbetween classes. Too much perfume, too strong deodorant. Why can't you just shower and be done with it? Or at least get deodorant that isn't so musty. People who sag their pants. What's the point of having your pants so low? It just mak...

Bob, If I had a nickel for every time mocked my height, I'd have... ... a lot of nickels. The obnoxious ones do it every passing, even on the days when I'm so obviously limping through the halls. Inconsiderate jerks. They'll all be drop-outs soon, I'm pretty sure. Really, do they have to mock a shor...

touché, but the answer is: it doesn't (obviously!). You answered your own question, Jeesh. And of course pwebs (and that's pwebs, with one syllable  ) are strong, they just have their limit of how far they can stretch. Also, auias probably do not have universal strength. I doubt all auias are...

Wow. It's hot on this thread. But I guess, if you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen, neh? :) I voted pro-life (ahh! don't hit me!), but I also know there're a lot of circumstances where pro-choice is the better answer. My point is, while pro-choice can be a good thing, I know that there ar...

Philotic Twining
When I first read about Philotic Twining in Enderverse, I thougt, "wow, what a cool idea". But thinking about it now, I realize lots of other fictions support the idea of p twining as well. For example: From Star Wars, the Force can be recognized as the ability to use your emotions to mani...

That makes so much sense! I never noticed references to Shadow the Hedgehog before. But, yeah Jeebs, I totally see it now. And 'The enemy's gate is down' obviously refers to the way Sonic often has to loop upside down to get to the finish line. All of the space ships in Enderverse are a mockery of D...

Many of you have brought up great points about the other Wiggins. I think it is important to think that the Wiggins were all amazing characters. Peter is ruthless and would have been able to defeat the buggers just as Ender did. Valentine however I don't think would have been able to, though intell...

I just finished EiE roughly five minutes ago, so I can finally understand this thread :) . I have noticed on my own that Card promotes monogamy. Gee, why are there so many Shadow haters? Come on. I do think the Ender Quartet was better, but not by much. You can't really be satisfied with reading just one quartet. I mean, it's like yin and yang, movies and popcorn, oreos and milk. Hallo? Do my strange similes make my point? I support both ser...

What would Artemis Fowl gain from competing against Ender? Maybe alien technology? Though I don't like to admit it, Fowl would beat Wiggin, mainly because it would be Artemis striking first, and he would have done his research on Ender and devised the perfect ambush for him, just like for the faerie...

You can't go wrong with Ender's Game. And then Ender's Shadow completes it. While I loved the character developement of Peter, Bean, Petra, and all, the Speaker quartet had stronger moral themes in it... The conclusions to both quartets were amazing, really climactic... And then First Meetings prope...

Though Mazer isn't brilliant, he still is the best one to train the next commander as he has the most understanding of the Buggers. Philotic Bender's Game Well, if we're going that far, OSC would have to stretch that title into a trilogy; PBG IV: A New Ender, PBG V: Congress Strikes Back, PBG VI: Return of the Child Geniuses, and then quite possibly a prequel trilogy, and then a planned sequel trilogy that never actually gets w...
