Jesus f****** CHRIST what don't you understand!? "liberal" is not a quantitative assessment. We can disagree. Maybe if you got that through your arrogant head you'd get somewhere with me.

We don't though. He defines Clinton as Liberal, I don't. I'd argue that not only do we disagree on how to define her, we also disagree on how to define liberal.

What are you talking about!? I'm simply saying that "liberal" is a qualitative assessment. You can tell me why you think what you think, but you can't treat it as objective truth.

You might want to think about the things you put out there on the internet. Your parent directory contains alot of personal stuff.

There's no such thing as empirical evidence for calling someone "liberal." It's a qualitative assessment.

That's a subjective assessment. Many people I know who, in just about every facet of their lives, embody exactly what you'd call "liberalism," are in line with Charles. I would vastly prefer Obama to Clinton. He is more liberal than her in both senses of the word. Not only does he represen...

Shakespeare

So... I'm reading Romeo and Juliet for a class, and I came to a realization. For a long time I'd thought that Shakespeare was pretty overrated. I mean, really, in the end his plays were vulgar entertainment. They're full of innuendo and ridiculous comedy. Reading through the speeches in Romeo and Ju...

Confession: I just saw Othello (in the local stage's version), and I realised maybe people were right when they said Shakespeare was a good playwright. Such an amazing play.

I started reading articles in Wikipedia on certain subjects, particularly summaries of Simpsons episodes and other material. And it's actually fun. You didn't do this before? Xenocide is by far the most ambitious of the Enderverse novels, having two parallel stories, even more branching storylines, etc. It's the most difficult novel to get into, but once you do, there are moments when the story SOARS. There are some moments in the story where it outshines even the best ...

This is true, but a jerk can still be right, and a subtle jerk bugs fewer people, and so is less likely to be recognized for what he is, which means people are more likely to listen.
