Wow, that's awesome! It took forever for me to get used to using mine, but they are so handy and nice to have.

My friend really considered buying Max Payne 3, but ultimately chose not to, so I picked it up and slid it into my inventory so that I can give it to him for Christmas. Yay for saving $30! Or something like that.

So we camped out for a Wii U last weekend, before being told that we were virtually guaranteed a couple if we just showed up at opening. So we left and came back. Basically: I really like it. The OS is super-duper slow, frustratingly sometimes, like when editing settings, but otherwise it's awesome....

Well, she had legs and a voice at the end of the movie, and it would be weird for you to be hanging out with her during the plot of the movie. Unless... YOU'RE ERIC?!?!?

There's something magical about the tiny amount of butter and spices that you put on Chex Mix that manages to flavor the entire ten-odd cups of cereal. I love it.

Hostess Cupcakes . :( We never got them when we were kids, mostly because my parents didn't really buy junk food of that caliber. Now that I'm an adult, I just feel guilty whenever I consider buying them. But now Hostess is going out of business and halting production. I guess I'm justified, at lea...

That's seriously my main reason for loving my (by now) trademarked olive Army jacket. It's a great windbreaker, has great pockets, and isn't necessarily the warmest thing, but boy does it let me keep a wide range of motion.

Someone on the internet half-jokingly suggested VII should be about Kyle Katarn. Someone else seriously suggested Wil Wheaton should play him. I don't exactly dislike Wil, and watching TNG is definitely helping endear him to me, but that is a horrible pairing. I hope you guys will understand my pain.

My friend whose Twitter is entirely parts of his NaNoWriMo that he's particularly proud of, with occasional transcriptions of the conversation he has with the ostensibly main character of his NaNo 2008.
But it's more of an elitist laugh, which makes me feel like a bad person.

Oh, it's been raining every day and I've forgotten my hat? Today I remembered my hat and it wasn't even raining, and the minute I stepped outside: BAM. Drizzle.
I was prepared, justifiably.

A lot of us have been waiting and hoping for years to see our favorite EU characters on screen. Also, for the same reason, to a lesser extent, that I have a love/hate relationship with Peter Jackson's LOTR adaptation. I love seeing middle earth on screen, but he also butchered a lot of things, and ...

I guess I don't understand the insane attachment to the EU in terms of having its canonity recognized as "official" that I'm hearing from a lot of corners of the world. The insistance that the new movies be based on an existing EU story doesn't make sense to me, because, like, how does it ...
