The future won't exist until it happens. God knows us so well that he can accurately predict what we will do. The objects in the universe (except humans) obey Him, so whatever He commands will happen. With the universe in His control, and knowing us like He does, He can see how future events will un...

Unfortunately, I don't know many who are happy about this. We didn't get enough snow this year, and now it is going away. Presently, it ...

I believe God created us so we could be truly happy and become like Him. I think that there may some purposes/goals for our lives that we planned with Him, but we are the ones who make the choices to achieve them. He knew before we came here what we could and would do, but, like hive king said, ther...

When God was formulating His master plan, He knew whether we would/wouldn't pray (one of the perks of omniscience). He also knew the consequences of giving us our requests or not. He doesn't change His plan because of a prayer, He included the prayers we would say in the plan.

No; it would be too much. Besides, nobody's story can compare with Ender's in Battle School. and Bean covered Earthlife afterwards. As for backgrounds, OSC's short stories work spectacularly.

I would probably alter something so it would be easier to change what I wanted to change. If I just changed things outright I'd feel like a slacker and probably wouldn't appreciate the changes so much. I'd have to put forth a little effort. Though, I wouldn't mind never having to shave again....

You can get both. Just like you have to get a marriage license now, you would go down to city hall and get a civil union, then go to the church and get married. Some churches would let you get married without a civil union, some wouldn't, it's up to them. Does that make it clear? A system like that...

This is just like it is now, just with "civil unions" replacing marriage (and priests not being able to create a legal bond).
If priests couldn't make legal bonds, wouldn't that rob religious marriages of the legal rights given to civil unions? Or am I just misunderstanding your idea?
