Re: Obligatory Introductory Post

I am proud to say that that will no longer be a problem at my middle school, as I am graduating this year I figured that since I wouldn't be there to pester others to read them the least I could do was make sure all the books were at least there. Oh and it anyone loses their book......

Re: "Turn him loose as a theorist..."

It seems like a very plausible concept and I do think that morphic fields could exist, another interesting thing to think about would be how these fields could relate to species evolution, if these fields worked that reliably would that not lead to far less species diversion, and fewer evolutionary ...

Re: Can we have a Hunger Games Movie thread?

Just saw the movie last weekend. Haven't read the books, so I don't have that perspective. That said... I went in expecting a fantasy sci-fi Battle Royale mixed with Survivor and was largely pleased with what I got. I found it horribly cliched at times (did Haymitch really have to be drunk? How awf...

I know that made me really happy as well, there is actually a part online with an interview where the reporter asks Jennifer if she is always that tall and Jennifer tells her that she is wearing really high heels. On the other hand she did look amazing in that dress. Another thing that made me irrat...

They have the largest general influence on the students that will eventually be the community. Most students are in school 7 or so hours a day, not to mention that...

The real difference here is that for Ender it was necessary for him to lose his childhood to save the human race. Does that make his situation less morally incorrect? Certainty not, however unless you can prove that they could have won any other way, it is a unquestionable decision that was made. bt...
