Re: Doctor Who (yarr, there be spoilers here!)

I'm not ready for a female Doctor. The Doctor's persona has always been male, and I think a gender switch would be jarring for me.

Re: Cause Workin' Out is 'fun' to do...

I figured out that in order to go to the gym after work, I need to throw my workout clothes in the car and go right after work. If I go home to change, I never make it back out the door. :P Bonus: When I do go to the gym right after work, I have more energy in the evening than when I just go home fr...

It occurs to me that JaneX should be in the class of 2000, even though she hasn't posted in years. She was here before me.

Re: Doctor Who (yarr, there be spoilers here!)

I love River. also. Love the storyline and the way Alex Kingston plays her character. I'm still working my way through Classic Who. Started skipping around some. I've watched all the Classic Who episodes on Netflix, and all the Sixth Doctor episodes I could find to watch. I really like Colin Baker, ...

Re: Doctor Who (yarr, there be spoilers here!)

I did a lot of re-watching before moving on myself.

I'm a very big David Tennant fan, but I also love Eleven. Hope they do as well casting the next Doctor as they did with Nine, Ten and Eleven.

Re: Doctor Who (yarr, there be spoilers here!)

Have you watched "Journey's End" yet? That was an emotional roller coaster, to say the least. I just watched Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead again, from Season 4. To be more accurate, I just flipped through to watch the moments with River and the Doctor. The ending of Forest of t...

Re: Doctor Who (yarr, there be spoilers here!)

Wow, that was a good sale!

Though, even at that price one can spend a fortune on Doctor Who episodes.

I'm watching The Dalek Invasion of Earth now.

This line from the episode amused me: "Obey motorised dustbins? We'll see."

Re: Doctor Who (yarr, there be spoilers here!)

First Doctor An Unearthly Child - The Very first story! While it might be fun to watch the entire serial, Part 1 is the most important to see the introduction of the Doctor, his granddaughter Susan, and Ian and Barbara. I watched all 4 parts of this one last night. Fun story, but oh the stereotypes...

Interesting, elfprince.

The classic Doctor Who episode "The Three Doctors" definitely gives the impression that the Doctor is not your run-of-the-mill garden variety Time Lord. :)

I've only gotten as far as the Christmas special and prequel to Bells. I haven't watched any of the Season 7 Part 2 episodes yet.

But the comments on the Doctor Who FB page announcement of the last episode are amusing.

I don't believe for one minute that they are going to reveal the Doctor's name.

I don't understand how, after making it very clear that I didn't have time to take on this project, I somehow ended up doing the bulk of it anyway. I have so much grey hair. I've been greying since I was about 18. I try to think of it as "tinsel". Rei likes it and insists I'm only allowed to dye my hair if I want to enjoy a new colour, but not to cover up the grey. :( I've had grey hair since my 20s. And I thought I would never dye m...

I participate in a board with that option and I dislike it, to be honest. It tells me how many times a poster has liked a post and has had a post liked, but there's no way to keep track of the actual posts that have been "liked" unless you just happen to notice it at the time. And it's not...
