"Man, that's not how I imagined X sounded at all!" This is what I hear when I read, but removed or at a distance if that makes sense. I hear my voice, the way it sounds to me when I'm speaking out loud, but it is not so strong/close. I can't imagine it not being there. I also read tragica...

people always just refer to me as brain or josh on here. Josh is right out; Doc is Josh, Zevlag-Josh is Zevlag, you are brain. I guess I could call you Mister but that's a pretty generic male nickname, so how about Underscore? :P I don't have any Pwebber-given nicknames besides dope and gator, but ...

Worst. Channel. Ever.
Save that for when the programs start airing.
*whacks television* Somebody move the bunny ears to the left a little.
I thought I saw a boob when you did that but then I remembered, this isn't that type of channel. Probably an elbow.

no explanation on these ancient nicknames! Someone can correct me on the parts I mess up, because I will here, but some -quite a few of them- of the nicknames you see (Chico - Josh, Fabio - Rei, err...others - others) came from Pweb chat's heyday. People were jokingly given certain roles; chat kill...

I feel the exact same way. It doesn't help that all the girl friends that I've had, have been prettier or more eye-catching than me. So, whenever we would go out anywhere, guys look at them and never, ever at me. It's not great for the ego. That was jr high, high school, and part of college for me....

Yeah, she's one in a million. (Or something like five million, I think the ophthalmologist said.) Awwww!!! That is so romantic!! Given the current population? That's only moderately romantic in the States and considerably less so in, say, India. The opthamologist gave her better than Syphon did. Ts...

Chaos Walking, by Patrick Ness. Not sure on the technical term but the style of the prose (dialect?) might drive you crazy at first but if you can get past that, it is one of the best trilogies I've ever read, hands down.
