I'm not sure if I speed read, but I do read quite quickly and actually spent some time focusing on slowing down after I graduated, because I just wasn't enjoying what I was reading because it wasn't relaxing! I have slowed down to about 100-120 pages of fiction an hour, with 10 minutes of that hour ...

I've decided to stop admitting how many books I've read so far this year. It just reminds me of my complete and utter lack of a social life, haha. Right now I'm attempting to catch up with A Song of Ice and Fire before Dance with Dragons comes out. I have 100 or so pages of A Storm of Swords left an...

I think I am going to have to start shaving more regularly because the feeling of the hair moving while working out is getting to me, lol. Ugh, eyebrows. I think I have finally conquered mine back in to a decent shape. They were looking pretty bad for awhile since I wanted to let some of them come b...

I am so getting laser hair removal as soon as I can justify the cost. Which might seem weird because I don't shave my legs very often, but I think my problem is there are so many areas I'd want it done, and I don't think I could have the patience/tolerance to well, do them all. My metabolism and I a...

I spent the last week with my cousin, who is 30, has an okay career but is thinking of going back to school to become an ER doctor, and is desperately worried she's giving up her personal life/chance to have children if she does this. I hope to not have to worry about these things until then but it ...

I barely shave my legs anymore because I scar easily and I nick myself very badly while shaving them. Though, the last 3 or so times I've done it (aka the last 6-12 months, LOL) I haven't bled! It just gets to the point though where I have to shave because I look like a Yeti. So this is very random,...

It's beautiful, isn't it? And what's that, Meagan; you want to go to Chicago? And you want me to go with you, to show you around, by which you mean you want me to be in the city at the same time as you but doing my own thing and letting you do yours? Just tell me when! :P Summer 2012, the science f...

On one hand, I really hope that you're right, since I want Kote to start acting like Kvothe again, instead of this empty shell of himself. On the other hand, Rothfuss takes a f****** long time writing books - so that might be another decade of waiting... What do you think about Denna and her patron...

Night shower. A. I don't own a hair dryer, B. I like feeling clean after working out. However, I find I like my hair best when it hasn't been washed in 18+ hours, which is a weird quantification, but its true. Also, I'm a bit of a hippie and sometimes only bathe when I know I'm leaving the house. Tr...

MATCHED by Ally Condie. So disappointed. Everyone else I know liked it, but I thought the beginning showed so much promise and then the whole thing just crashed and burned for me.
