Bean is better in every way except that he is less capable to command than Ender because 1. He was, for a while, much shorter than everyone else and 2. Was less likable and Human than Ender was. Bean was the sht but Ender was the one who was able to destroy the Buggers against all odds. Bean survive...

Why didn't they like the name buggers? Bugger is a bad word in English. It says somewhere in Ender's Shadow that the Buggers were renamed the Formics because of this, even though IF common is technically not English. It actually is a bad word though, not just according to the books. but who cares? ...
