That should really be the start of a "Thank you, Jan I used to have money" thread.

That is a dangerous site. I want almost everything, including the water jet pack. How awesome would that be?

Re: Dear Diary/Journal/Bob 3.0

Bob, A whole lot going on in life right now. I was laying low around here because of the mod voting. It made me uncomfortable. But I would like to thank Satya for nominating me and every one (if anyone) who voted for me. I was not expecting to be nominated, nor did I initially want the job, but I wa...

Re: Birthdays!

When I saw the first post, I thought "Who is this other Ed? And when did he join the board?" Then I saw the date and the fact that it was the 10th. I said, "s***! I probably messed this up."

Re: Birthdays!

Well this is embarrassing. My birthday is actually February 10th, but I guess sometimes you put the day and month as 10 when you update your profile.

ETA: No lie. When I went to update to the correct birthday, I updated to October 2nd. I am clearly losing my mind.

Re: Complete Randomness

The amount and type of oil used on lanes effects how much a ball will curve. Dryer conditions mean the ball will catch earlier and have a much more dramatic curve. More oil on the lanes lets the ball slide further before it grips the lane. If you don't curve the ball much or at all, then it probably...

Re: ESP(Web)N - The Sports Thread

We ended the season by playing some of the worst teams in baseball (Mets, Cubs, and Astros). That's good stuff right there. I knew they finished with the Astros, but I didn't realize that they had the Mets and Cubs before that. To counter your hopefully, but not optimistic. I guess I am confident, ...

The Rays were somewhere around 8.5/9 games back for most of August I think. I know at September 1st, the Cardinals and Rays were both 8.5 games back. Interesting point about the Rays, in most of August and even on September 1st, the Rays were trailing the Yankees because Boston was leading the divis...

Re: ESP(Web)N - The Sports Thread

There were four teams going for two available playoff spots. The Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox for one and the Atlanta Braves and St. Louis Cardinals for the other. The teams were tied, so if they both won or both lost then there would be a one game playoff between the two to get into the actual...

I like to shower at night and get into bed clean, also. Do people consider their bed a clean place? I think my bed is clean for exactly one night after I change the sheets and then won't be clean until the sheets are clean again. I mean I sweat and drool in my sleep. Occasionally, there are other g...
