No one judged or attacked any post you made in Bob other than to say it was out of line in the spirit of the thread and then I pointed you to the opening post. How exactly was that doing what you did?

You're right. WE own him. And we are the majority. So stay out unless you can behave.

Re: Dear Diary/Journal/Bob 3.0

DEAR DIARY/JOURNAL/BOB was an experiment I began at pweb a few years ago, in which we would create a place for people to just VENT. A place to tell someone about their day. A place where nobody will judge you. People soon felt very comfortable talking to BOB, and the thread took on a life of its ow...

hey, bob. just thinkin' about how good religion is at maintaining communities. kinda funny, huh?

thought you might want to know.

Was this some sort of sarcastic dig at religion in response or related to my post? Because, if so, that was really out of line...especially in Bob.

I generally hate Radio Shack (I think they are overpriced) but they are a good place for international adapters that are hard to find elsewhere. Although if you have enough time, you can find anything online.

Last night was my last time there. I was crying a lot afterwards. And it made me resent them even more. I had to leave my home. Because of him. Because of them. Just looking at him makes me nauseated. And then knowing that she is going to marry him after knowing the things that he did to me. But she...

From some medical site: "Usually, there are only four to six tablespoonfuls of blood in the whole flow. This is a small amount. The rest is bits of the unused lining and other fluids. By the time your period ends, the flow will have amounted to between half a cup and a full cup of liquid."...

This is why I like being an honorary girl. I get all the benefits of womanhood without losing a quart of blood every month. :stoned:
Actually, the average girl only loses around 4-6 tablespoons of blood each month.

Well, the guy (who was the source of my year and a half of hellish emotional abuse and nearly drove me to suicide) just got engaged. To the roommate of his sister, my former best friend. Both girls used to be very close friends of mine until I finally revealed the truth about my relationship with hi...

No apologies necessary, I really appreciate the tips!

I'm a very fast two handed typer, so it's not a matter of having to learn to use my left hand...but rather using it to cover the whole keyboard rather than half.

The Last Two Weeks...or Learning to be Left-Handed

(I am typing all of this with one hand and my non-dominant one at that, so cut me some slack). Two weeks ago today I was in a car accident. I was going 55mph on a fairly major road (2 lanes in each direction). A 18 yo guy pulled out from a side street on my right without stopping at his stop sign, t...

In the pull down menu, one of the options is "Questions for and about OSC" but they ask you to read the list of FAQs on the right side of the page before writing.

That is really the only way you should approach him.

After reading your review, I tried that yogurt. I found it too rich for my tastes...but I did buy it for a friend can't get enough of heavy cream, and she loved it. They only sell the Blackberry flavor in my supermarket.

As far as Ron dying goes-- In the third book, he says, "And from now on, I don't care if my tea-leaves spell die, Ron, die - I'm just chucking them in the bin where they belong." A lot of people read into the fact that JKR chose to italicize it, and the fact that Ron's name is in between ...

That story reminds me of a Little House episode where the blind school burned down. Mary's baby and Mrs. Garvey both died in it. It was wicked sad. And not based on the books at all.

“Anything human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.” - Mister Rogers
