I've always liked Azkaban the best--it was the one that really hooked me into the series.

Hmm... the only one I can think of right off the bat would be Nathaniel Lees as Mazer. Or Morgan Freeman. But Nathaniel Lees first.

Hmm...I'm too old for the Battle School roles, and way too young for the adult roles... I'd probably be one of the random older teenagers at Command School that nobody cares about. My only other option would be Valentine at the very end of the movie, when she's like 15 or 16. Of course, my ideal rol...

Re: How responsible is Ender?

On the communication issue: Communication was impossible, so there's no way to tell if the other is trying to kill you -- so try to kill them first. That sounds wrong to me, but I don't know the whole situation. Maybe that WAS true. But I think that if everyone had dedicated as much energy toward tr...

If you're a history buff (as I am), definitely read the Alvin Maker series. It's entertaining to see the ways in which the books both depart from history and join up in interesting ways. Plus I love the entire fantasy/magical element of "knacks". It's very believable. The series is a fun r...

I'm going to agree with some others and say that my least favorite is Xenocide. I like all the books (why else would I be here) but I read the others more than this one. I suppose it's because of the ideas; right now I haven't experienced enough of life to make them too interesting to me. Maybe in a...

Looking forward to Fahrenheit 451 (hope it's done well) and the Bourne Supremacy. Also awaiting the third installments of Pirates, Spidey, and Ocean's.

Ick: Mrs. Doubtfire 2, Zorro 2110, and American Pie 5. Are these really necessary?

I have trouble understanding how SftD wouldn't be everyone's favourite. To me it just seems so obvious that it's the best and you should all be sitting in a corner wearing dunce hats for your foolishness.
I could not agree more.
Ditto from me.
