Here "God" stands for the big guy in the Bible. You must have heard about Him ;) It would be nice if you could explain your vote with some arguments. :) --- My stand is this: I myself would be disappointed if there were a deity called God whose best creation was Humanity. Not that the comp...

my post was not a joke. it was deadly serious. the idea of a mandatory "test" that must be passed in order to vote is the joke, in my opinion. Hold on. I didn’t mean that I saw the whole post as a joke, just the idea of putting the age of the candidates on a test. I took your post serio...

I know that "the test" would bring practical/financial problems along. But if we make an effort, I think it should be towards information/education, every time we have a chance to do it.

Oh, so in your case it's a personal vendetta against Super? :D

Don’t worry; he is not interested in buying people’s souls. :P

For me, an agnostic is someone who claims that the existence of any given deity can't be proven either way by the inherently flawed humans. That's what the original term stands for. Yet, I might be wrong. Someone who isn't sure, is just that, unsure. What would be relevant at that point is if they a...

I think that Batman is a more ruthless person, and has no inherent sense of needing to play fair. Superman, even when he needs to win, seems to. Superman is the original boy scout, while Batman is a ruthless hero. He knows Superman's weaknesses far better than Superman knows Batman's, and he is alw...

Maybe we should make people pass a test about the candidates before voting, too, so we ensure that only informed people vote. /sarcasm Now that is something that I'd really like to see happening! No sarcasm. If the votes of the undecided skew the results, they do so randomly. The votes of the uninf...

The only thing that makes me doubt that Batman would win is his aversion to killing, but if he thought it absolutely necessary, I'm pretty confident that he would. That's just it. If you manage to convice Batman that killing Superman is worthwhile, then it is possible to convince Superman of killig...

This way, even a toddler would defeat Superman. So what’s the poll about? Superman vs. Kryptonite? We all know the answer to that.

In a fight based on physical strength the Super would defeat the Bat any day.

I also must quibble with the terminology everbody is using. Atheism shouldn't be used as a term. We don't have a term for somebody who doesn't believe in Zeus or astrology, they're just reasonable people . In the same way, we shouldn't have to have a term for somebody who uses common sense. I can unequivocally PROOVE the existence of GOD.

Just tell me what God is (so I can understand what it is whose existence I'm proving), and I'll prove it.
How can you be sure that you can prove the existence of ANY deity?

Evil and Good are coexistant. There cannot be one without the other. There is Good, so there has to be something that upsets it, something that opposes it. Isn't atheism kind of a contradiction. Sure, they don't belive that there is a God but isn't that still a belief, NOT to believe... Thats pretty much my stand point on it.
