Re: "I HAVE SEEN THE MOVIE AND I MUST TALK ABOUT IT" Thread

So, some people won't stop bugging me about posting here. And now they're physically near me so I can't ignore them as well, so here's my thoughts. (I saw it yesterday with Mobius, elf, and gravity defier) Overall, the movie was better than I expected, but my expectations were somewhat low -- not as...

My friends say I should use Jigglypuff to make it fair.
If you get really good at landing that 'rest', see if they still say that... (jigglypuff isn't even bottom tier from what I hear)

I don't really think any of the changes make much of a difference; google will always track you in any way they can, so eh, whatever. However, one of the recommendations I've been seeing lately is to turn off your search history, which I think makes sense. If you go to http://www.google.com/history&...

The other day I remembered a conversation I had with someone about the medals in Star Fox 64, and how I wasn't sure if I'd ever gotten all of them. I hadn't, so of course I finished that up... was missing titania, y, aquas, zoness, and z. I think I remember trying to get y as a kid and being frustra...

I've recently severely cut down on the amount of time I spend looking at pony stuff. Deliberately cutting a... thing , any thing, out of my life tends to be a very difficult thing for me to do, a fact which causes no end of frustration for me. Possibly ignorant male question.... what's wrong with carnations? Is there some reason you're not "supposed" to get someone carnations, or does that one specific person just not like them or something?

I guess my confusion is about when/why such notices are necessary? I don't usually tell my friends "hey, you should probably pay that parking ticket, but this doesn't constitute legal advice".

I read Daniel Suarez's Daemon recently (just the first book). It's kinda dumb, but I suppose books in this genre must be to some degree. It's less dumb than other stories I've read like this, so I suppose something was done right. I get the feeling that one of the selling points in this is the accur...

I don't think I've had these since I was a kid; I don't even know if they have a name or anything. Tortillas + butter/margarine + cinnamon sugar, rolled up and put in the microwave for a short period of time, are delightful.

Everyone I've talked to from outside the US seems to hate peanut butter (haven't talked to Canadians about it; now I assume they get peanut butter ;). Trying to explain things like pb&js and reese's peanut butter cups just results in looks of disgust.
