I prefer these used sparingly. But... then... there... is... overload... which... makes... reading... diffi...

Dear you... I don't understand... yes, elipses are beautiful things... but why do you despise using periods... I do not know what kind of traumatic incident occurred to make you hate punctuation so... or perhaps it signifies an unwillingness to commit to anything... a sort of existential sense of so...

In my fantasies, I long for interesting clients. I long for stories and distortions because in my fantasies, I make them better. I work with them compassionately and wisely and competently. But when I get a real client that I would love to have in my dreams of me as wonderful therapist, I have no id...

Rahl, in this thread you remind me of an overly stuffy uncle who I want to pick on because it's just plain fun. However, I will attempt a bit more of a serious tone for the sake of not permanently pissing you off. Let me clarify. It was not meant to be malicious. None of this has been intended as ma...

Yeah, I went through a major paper snowflake phase. I had bought a big book of scrapbook paper -- and I don't scrapbook. So I'd cut them out when I had insomnia or was watching TV. Now I have about thirty of them -- very lacy, very colorful -- as kind of wallpaper by my desk. It's very psychedelic. ...

*hugs hugs hugs* I once created a pantheon of gods named Coincidence, Fate, Luck, and Divine Justice. They each had specific characteristics and ways of alternately blessing people and screwing with them. Coincidence and Fate have obviously been drinking together. When they drink together, they get ...

My uncle wants to set me up with a nice young tall doctor and all I feel is dread. Not excitement. Not curiosity. And yet, just in case, I'm trying to figure out how to lose weight and get my skin cleared by Thanksgiving. Because the fact that I probably don't want him (any him) doesn't change the f...

Anonshadow, I am 100% in agreement with you thus far. ~~~~~~ By the way, on the adoption thing, I know when my best friend was adopting there was a lot of concern about getting the father to sign away his legal rights to the child so that the adoption could go through. Depends on the man. I mean, that's great if he's supportive and caring and will honor your opinions and behave with integrity. I truly do believe that ideally, that would be a decision the man and woman make together. But I would never, never, ever support legislation mandating it because so many me...

It's not about giving words power, neo. Words inherently have power. Language is what society is built on -- basically what it is made out of. The thoughts and feelings are great... and they're expressed through words. And how you understand those thoughts and feelings is based within a culture crea...
