Re: Who's Left? -- I Miss This Place

I joined this site in 2004/2005 or so. I pop in every once in a while but haven't posted anything. I felt I should now. I got married when I was still active on this site. That was 12 years ago. Damn. I popped in in 2012 to announce I had a daughter. I've got three now. I love this place. I never fe...

Hi everyone. Haven't been around in a while. Missed ya! Anyhow, last night a bunch of stuff was erased off my computer. Pictures, word documents, etc. I was wondering if there was any free program or any computer capabilities that that will help me retrieve all of the files. I downloaded a program t...

There is a passage in the NLT where is speaks of not eating meat if it scandalises your neighbour, but that one shouldn't be scandalised by eating meat. However, the translation in other versions specifies "meat sacraficed to idols." I thought that that was a fairly significant interpreta...

About fifteen years ago, McKinney was just another small town and not visually appealing. About 2001, with an influx of new workers in Dallas, the small town of McKinney blew up. From 2001 to 2006, the population grew from about 16,000 to 100,000 and now over 120,000. McKinney kept up and expanded (...

You forgot "War of Gifts". Should it be read between Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow or in the middle of Ender's Game if your doing it chronologically.

The short stories in First Meetings definitely the first two before EG and the last one after EG and the Shadow series.

I was wondering if you have ever used a pseudonym called "Shane Fitzgerald"? This seems like something you would do. This guy is from Ireland, too, is why I ask.

Also, I found a four-leaf clover today. Do you want me to send it to you?
