Now here's a challenge, lyons. Debate on this forum without the help of the watchtower society. Who says I get my information from the Watchtower Society? I do most of my research from the internet when it comes down to Bible verses to prove my point. I haven't used the Watchtower Society once in t...

1. You only have five scriptures even relevant to what the Hebrew people believed. The latter half is New Testament work. Odd, isn't it, when there's a multitude of scriptures that suggest more than one. Of course, you'll just disregard that little fact, because, hey, you've already made up your mi...

Then that would make the earth only about 6,000 years old, Jota. And it's proven that the earth is millions of years old. And what about the light from the sun taking eight years to reach the earth? It doesn't fit. If the luminaries came into the sky on the fourth day then the light would still have...

Taalcon, quick question. ok, so I don't know much about Mormonism but please explain to me about the possiblity of a Mormon that is married in the temple and sealed and so on and so forth which he can become a God himself? How can that be when Mormons call themselves Christians? I don't agree with ...

It's literal. If it was poetry it would be with the poetry books: Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon. We could add another book, I guess. Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Genesis 1-3, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon. And the books of the Law could be Genesis 4-Deuteronomy. Again, it's literal.

First “Day†“‘Let light come to be.’ Then there came to be light. And God began calling the light Day, but the darkness he called Night. And there came to be evening and there came to be morning, a first day.â€â€”Genesis 1:3, 5. Of course the sun and moon were in outer space long before...

Games Worth Consideration: Week Two
This is a game that I tried winning many times but never succeeded. I always missed at least one. So, without further ado, Game #2: How well do you know the United States of America?

So if when I die I pay off my wages anyways, wouldn't it make sense for me, or at least for someone who knows they're going to die before Armageddeon, to run out and commit all kinds of sins and live a life of total debauchery, knowing that they'll die and it'll all be OK? I mean, if you interpret ...

My problem with the Jehovah's witness concept of the afterlife is this: when someone dies, everything-soul and body- dies. There is nothing left. According to your beliefs, God will ressurect the just. But if you think about it, it wouldn't be you . the ressurected being would look like you, act li...

Bean admits he can never be as great as Ender, he has that natural charisma, which Bean lacks. That's just it, Ender is reduced to nothing more than a charsmatic leader, essentially he's just a good actor. ES undermined Ender's intelligence, resourcefulness, tacticalness and many of his greatest fe...

But you can't just perform spells unless you're magic to begin with. From all accounts, Ender and Bean are Muggles. Thanks Jayelle. I was thinking the exact same thing. What Slim said bugged me as much as it bugged Jebus. Frodo would put on his ring and Harry would put on his invisibility cloak. En...

Slim, the reason this happens is because E_L is arrogant. Other people take a Scripture here and Scripture there to try to make the big picture and people follow them. Once I do it E_L is all over me saying I've made something that resembles a Gordian Knot. All I'm doing is saying what I believe and...

From the first paragraph of this website, it seems that the Jews do not really know what they believe on the matter. Traditional Judaism firmly believes that death is not the end of human existence. However, because Judaism is primarily focused on life here and now rather than on the afterlife, Juda...
