**bump** I can't help but bump this thread. So I was walking to work 08/08/08 about 3:50 am, there were several police cars driving by and seconds after they passed, a car pulled up beside me. There were two people in the car a couple of hispanic kids. The passenger asks, "where you from homes?...

I met my wife online march of 2003. she lived in sacramento, ca. One month later we met in person. Three months later I proposed/she accepted. And only three months after that we married. We're now coming up on our five year anniversary. . . so yeah, I believe it can work.

Biased judging panels! One of the Chinese gymnists were on the parallel bars lost his balance, sat on the bar, and caught himself on the opposite bar while falling forward and he still got an 8.3 for execution! I'm losing faith in both parties. I don't feel like any politician (blue or red) is genuine. There used to be a distinct difference of what a blue politician would do versus a red. Like Bush with his No Child Left Behind. Now I know nobody wants to claim that as a democrat philosophy, but it increas...

Freeman Injured in Accident

I post this only because Morgan Freeman is one of my favorite actors. I hope he recovers swiftly so he can entertain us in more films.

I admit, I've only noticed it once on another guy. It was the most awkward thing in the world. . . My wife and I were at my aunt's funeral, and my dad had a random one. What made it awkward was my homosexual cousin (about 26 years old) noticed and became aroused himself! It doesn't stop there. My co...

Here's a question. What do you do when you get hard in public? Take a seat and put your elbows on your knees. But what if there is no place to sit? "Walk it off". Uh no. The friction of your pants can further arouse you. Hide it underneath your belt. Sure that works, but you need some priv...

I loved the movie. You're right, batman isn't supposed to have a love life. Consequences too dangerous and such. It was so cool and sinister how the Joker turned "The White Knight" against batman. So many cool things. So many! I'm not sure, but I think I caught a subtle foreshadowing of a ...

I guess the solution all depends on how much time and effort you want to invest in this "friend". Her situation doesn't sound like a weekly phone call is really going to help. If I were you, and I was REALLY concerned, I would take her under my wing and mother her until she is ready to fly...

I wouldn't mind being any random bugger, frozen from lack of direction from the queen, in any of the old war vids. I could point to everyone I know and say, "I think that stationary bugger there is me... or maybe that one... or the one next to it, etc".

That's the trouble with science and sin. Society is pushed into every wind of change. 500 years ago science and sin were perceived completely different than they are today. The other day I spoke with a unitarian universalist wiccan. As he described it, it means that he can believe however he likes and it may or may not be true, but who cares as long as he's not harming anybody and he's happy. The unitarian church accepts all beliefs and backgrounds. So a pagan, a jew a...

double post

I agree with the metareality concept. I understand the five senses as the whole of what we can tangibly perceive, except I believe that a sense of the metareality can be made operable by putting blind faith in it.

I would like to assure you of the existence of the metareality.
