Re: Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down

Thumbs up: Saw the Hobbit in IMAX (my first imax movie)
Thumbs down: not enough splattering orc blood

Thumbs up: They used alot of the silmarillion in the backstory
Thumbs up/down: Guillermo del Toro

Undecided on whether or not this is a good thing.

Val, I've been married since aug 25 congrats to you!! We have our ups and downs. We have really made it through a lot. We went to the same high school but because of the 3 year age difference we didn't really meet until I was a senior in high school at another school (my parents moved us). I sent hi...

Re: The Musicals Thread

I was surprised that grease showed up so late in this thread...I hope I don't offend musical "purists" by saying these next two things.
1: I have never seen a musical on stage
2: my three faves on DVD are
Grease (of course)
Crybaby
Across the universe. I'm a huge Beatles fan.

Dear You, I just had the most heartbreaking conversation with "our" 5 year old about you. I know she doesn't understand a lot of what I say, but damnit she understands enough to realize that you arent there....and that it hurts her feelings. What you did isn't fair. Forget about how unfair it was to...

I find it hard to motivate to do ANYTHING. Im a very social person so going out to eat is fun for me besides just the fact that I LOVE ...

Kill devil hill, I think I've been to your name sake!! Aaanyway... I fell in love with Peter. There was a scene in one of the books that insinuated he wasn't as violent as Ender (and everyone else) thought...but rather manipulated to follow the path that he ended up on. I loved pseudo peter in CotM....
