Re: General Filming/Production Update Thread

Well, I'm pretty sure the guy in the back between Khylin and Aramis is Moises's brother, and I presume the three around Moises are his relatives as well. The girl in front of Suraj looks like it might be his sister? Then this picture got posted on Aramis's facebook, and someone said the girl next to...

Re: Blood Donation

I'd like to give blood, but, I'm pretty sure I don't weigh enough, and I'd probably end up passing out, partially because I've developed a fear of needles. I had to have some blood taken once for a routine checkup when I was switching doctors, and I swear the nurse must never have taken blood in her...

Re: General Filming/Production Update Thread

I love today's blog post so much! This room looks so much like mine, with a bunch of posters and gadgets and books all strewn around :D . And, is that the design for the desks I see towards the back, on the right hand side?

Re: General Filming/Production Update Thread

When I saw that, I thought about the scene leading up to the fight between Bonzo and Ender, where Dragon army is protecting Ender from the Salamanders/other Bonzo followers, and Petra tries to stop Ender in the hall. Maybe? I would call it pretty 'pivotal.' Although maybe not, because Bean would be ...

Re: TV in General - Rants, Reviews, Etc.

^Hahaha. Yes! I still need to catch up with the past few episodes of Community. I finally got around to watching Twin Peaks. I had always meant to, especially after the Psych episode about it, but it wasn't instant watch on Netflix until somewhat recently. But, just amazing! I watched it all in abou...

Re: Can we have a Hunger Games Movie thread?

I agree with the shaky camera. It might not have been as bad if I wasn't sitting in the third row of the theater, but it just made me really nauseous....

But otherwise, it was really great!

Re: TV in General - Rants, Reviews, Etc.

I finally caught up with Parks and Recreation. I really should have started it a long time ago..... But, I absolutely love it! It makes me sad that it gets mediocre-ish reviews, and I really, really hope it gets renewed. I think its actually beating 30 Rock for my favorite comedy on now.... The enti...

Re: Currently Reading / Just Read (Books/stories/whatever)

I was introduced to Neil Gaiman by a friend who gave me a copy of "Neverwhere", his adaptation of a TV mini-series he wrote for the BBC, and I was hooked instantly. I then read his joint venture with another favorite author of mine, Terry Prachett, "Good Omens," which I also lov...

Why do I not live in New Orleans!!!??

I'm 18, but I get mistaken for about 14 constantly, so they'd probably take me.

Darn...........

Re: Currently Reading / Just Read (Books/stories/whatever)

I always read about 27000 things at the same time. Currently, Catcher in the Rye, Neuromancer, a collection of Lovecraft's short stories, and Weaveworld by Clive Barker. I intended to have all of these read during my winter break, but it doesn't look like its going to happen, unfortunately. And as s...

However, its supposed to be at least 50 again by the end of the week. Weird weather.

Re: Brains or Beauty?

And while, likewise, you can try to sharpen your intellect like you would cultivate your own body - there's less wiggle room. Sure, you can increase your factual knowledge, but concrete intelligence isn't what most people think of when they think of intelligence. Natural, fluid intelligence - not f...

Hello.

Well hello. I'm Carly. I've been meaning to register on here for quite some time.... I'm a huge fan of the Ender's verse novels (obviously?). I read Ender's Game for the first time about 9 years ago, in fourth grade; I probably wasn't quite mature enough for some of it, but it was one of the only bo...
