Pentagon drafts today’s kids to build tomorrow’s aerial killers If your first thought when seeing this is that the program is Orson Scott Cardesque, you aren’t alone. The idea of children developing the next great drone is something out of science fiction nightmare, though one of the directors of t...

So, a friend roped me into trying Zumba tomorrow/today with her. Another one of my friends remarked: "-____- Zumba is probably the most feminine thing you could participate in...even worse than cheerleading...lmao" Thoughts on a guy doing Zumba? I can pretty much promise that your friend ...

I made laundry detergent and fabric softener today.
Did something recently publish about making your own detergent and fabric softener? At least three of my friends posted to Facebook last week about doing the same.
Everyone's been seeing it on Pinterest.

They are going to make another PAX location, but they've yet to announce where. So we'll keep our fingers crossed for you! Maybe a PAX Chicago. That would be baller.

This is what I hate. I really like McDonald's hamburgers even though they aren't really that good of hamburgers or food. I hate it so much that I love them so much... The trick is not to think of them as "real" hamburgers. They're a completely different food. It's like getting into an arg...

That liquids have calories. Logically, I understand how calories work and that liquids have them.

But I just can't make myself believe that a mug of hot chocolate can have the same calories as a kid's hamburger from McDonald's.

Lindy! DC has a pretty decent sized swing-dancing scene, and I've been dancing lindy for eight years or so.

You haven't been able to find a group in your neck of the woods? I know that it's pretty popular on the coasts of the U.S., but I don't really know about elsewhere.

I disagree, I think she'll make a great Petra. This is the best casting move so far imo.
I'm not sure about Breslin as Val, but I am all kinds of on board with the Petra casting.

I've only played for about an hour so far. Boyfriend was in town and he was annoying me by "helping." He's been a gamer his whole life, while I only really played Starcraft as a kid and not much else. So my coordination and general skill is pretty low. Now that I've shipped him back off to...

Has anyone read Ready Player One? I read a description of it yesterday and I'm dying to read it. I've read it and it's fantastic. Such an indulgent mix of 80s geek culture and future-generation MMO gaming. No muss, no fuss, no real complexity or nuance, just a fun, fun read. You'll be glad you read...

Boyfriend and I bought each other Kindle Fires. I was deathly afraid that he wasn't going to get me one and I would have to suffer in silence as he played with the fun new toy and I didn't.

From what I remember, most of Path accepted that it was a virus and they were cured. Qing-jao, however, insisted she was still godspoken and continued following her lines even though the compulsion was no long there.
