I am very, very angry right now but UofA made dumb choices and UCONN played very well. My only interest in the rest of the tournament lies with VCU -I don't like Kansas, UK or UNC and can't be bothered to cheer on UCONN- and while it's highly unlikely they'll advance any further, a girl can dream. ...

I'm watching the game right now, and UConn is down by four 14-18 :P I think Kemba will pull it off though. Not gonna lie, Derrick Williams is amazing. I give him props, no Derrick and Arizona is done.

AND BUTLER WON!!! Being from Indy, the Butler Bulldogs are my boys!

It's actually a pretty good movie. The storyline is as predictable as (some analogy I couldn't think of) but the little things make it amazing. I enjoyed it :P

I know, was just screwing with you lol. I really didn't think it shared that much in common. Mainly just humans getting to know an alien race with weird customs revolving around trees... okay. Maybe there's a bit :P

Re: Avatar in relation to Enders Game

Is "Avatar" based on a book? EditHistoryDelete No. Avatar is based on an original screenplay penned by writer/director/producer James Cameron. However, the screenplay does contain elements and concepts from several science fiction works, including The Jesus Incident (1979) by Frank Herber...

I love college basketball :P My picks for final four are Ohio State for obvious reasons, Purdue because they're my favorite college (and they have a legitimite chance if they can top Notre Dame), Butler (I'm not gonna lie, I had Wisconsin. But I changed it to Butler after the Old Dominion. Nobody wa...

I think that it would be hard, but I think Speaker could work if they made a long, LOTR Return of the King length movie. My only problem with that is that without Ender's Game already being made, you won't realize what Ender went through in the war that caused his infamy. And another thing, you woul...

I have the Ender's Game comics, and the first Ender's Shadow comic. I liked seeing the take the artist used on the books, but overall I didn't like them. (talking about the Ender's Game comics) The people are oddly proportioned, and the things that make the book great (capturing Ender's lonliness, t...

I didn't think it was that bad... It wasn't an Ender's Game, but it wasn't horrible in my opinion... I did think that the dialogue was a little flat, but the idea behind the novel seemed possible and was interesting enough to keep me reading. I liked the sequel too, as I enjoyed the plot just as muc...

I understand that carbon dating isn't GENERALLY used because of that. I'm just saying that it has been used, and is sometimes still used, and widely believed. I'm not saying that dinosaurs or whatever are being dated with it. But occasionally people do test objects, and take the testing as truth. Th...

I found it by googling something about the Ender's Game movie... I can't really remember what though. But yeah, it was through google. And I didn't know it was in the books? Thats really cool if it is!

1. The Bible is meant to be taken literally except a few books. I said the quotation of Jesus saying "For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink" was said symbolically. Through communion the bread and wine symbolically stand for it. The reason being is this, communing together a...

I don't see why the movie would be bad as long as they put enough care into making it as opposed to rushing it out and trying to make a quick buck. The child cast is a problem, but as said before me older actors could easily be cast, and with a little work made to look like the proper age. One thing...

1. I believe that the words that Jesus spoke, saying that we are eating his flesh and blood are symbolic. I don't believe the whole book is, only that particular statement, as the actual narrative is not taken unliterally. 2. I have nothing against Christians who believe that evolution or the big ba...

Yeah, I'm not a Tranny lol. My dad is asian, and his last name happens to be Tran. :P And thanks for the greetings and congratulations. I play pointguard, being only 5'9. Do you play too? And I really haven't read any of his non-Ender books. Alvin Maker didn't really sound too appealing to me, and I...

I don't believe in evolution or the big bang. For one, they take a one in a million chance just to get in the position that in turn causes another one in a million chance, which in another turn causes another one in a million chance, which yet again causes a one in a million chance, which... Like some of those before me, I believe that the death's of Stilson and Bonzo were in self defense (Bonzo's a bit more than Stilson. But Stilson still started the fight, and Ender truly believed he had to hurt him. Not his fault they gave him steel toe boots) The Formics were attacking all of the hu...

Actually, I think Speaker for the Dead could be a fine standalone film. I would actually prefer that they release Speaker now, since I think it would be easier to make at the current time than Ender's Game. Then release Ender's Game along with the rest of the Ender Quartet as time goes. Also, what i...

Ho! Obviously, I'm TheTranskinator, but you could also call me transky if you wanted. I got the name because of my last name... Anyways I'm a fan of all of the Enderverse, having read all the books out so far, many of them multiple times. Ender's Game has to be in the twenties, Speaker has to have b...
