Re: Doctor Who (yarr, there be spoilers here!)

Some more stuff. Other Companions River. I like River a lot. She is pretty much the ultimate at putting the Doctor in his place. I also like when time travel becomes part of the story and not just "Hey! We traveled to X and it is year Y. Let's see what happens!". So, I pretty much love the interwove...

Re: Doctor Who (yarr, there be spoilers here!)

*lurks* So I finally new seasons (no classic as of yet). This was a huge hole on my geek resume. I was relieved how good it was given the build up of the show on the internets. I tend to be disappointed when things have huge hype around. The Doctors The ninth! I love Eccleston. With all due respect ...

Re: Yes, I know Google is my friend, but I'd rather ask you.

The article has a bunch of good suggestions (some of them unnecessary in my mind), but I pretty much echo Neo with one small caveat. I downloaded an app to add the start menu back. It can be found here:

Re: Top Chef

I haven't been this upset at Top Chef since season 2 when Sam didn't make the finals. Kristen should have stick up for herself or Brooke or Lizzie should have stepped in, because all three of them knew what was going on. Tom even said that the wrong decision was made in his blog. He said if Kristen ...

Re: Yes, I know Google is my friend, but I'd rather ask you.

I'll preface this by saying I haven't been a practicing Catholic in a very long time, but for me there always seemed to be a couple reasons. I belonged to an incredibly large parish when I was younger, like tens of thousands large. So it just seemed like a numbers issue. We had an upper and lower ch...

Nice! Well I will put everything in spoilers, but this will include up to episode 10. So, Kim you might not want to look until you're caught up. So there are 7 chefs left with Restaurant Wars coming up next, which is usually a utter disaster. They are Brooke, Josh, Josie, Kristen, Lizzie, Sheldon an...

Re: Random things that remind you of PWEB or people here

One of the writers of a sports blog that I read was doing an end of the year mailbag type of post. And the last question was what he was looking forward to in 2013. He started with a bunch of sports stuff, then went into some personal stuff and then he finished with... the Ender's Game movie! I thou...

Re: Complete Randomness

That's a good rule to follow, specially if you travel in time. Remember what Doc said. The encounter could create a time paradox, the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum and destroy the entire universe! Granted, that's a worse...

Well now I'm curious as to what number one is because as cool as it was to see a ball knocked out of the field (and subsequently thrown back into it by the Cubs fans in the street), I didn't think it'd be all that impressive given the number of live sporting events you've been to. I just saw this a...

A bike ride when you realize half way through that your tires aren't properly inflated. They seemed well enough when I started, but the ride back was on a slight incline. Made for a hell of work out though.

Watching a ball get hit out into the street is probably Top 5 baseball moments I've seen live. It might even be number two. So freaking cool.

Quite simply, you can't. Windows made the choice to exclude it, so they would need to put out a fix. And from everything I've seen, it doesn't look likely. However, 8 does still support WEP, just not shared key. So is there any specific reason you need to use shared? Because if you are happy with th...
