I would like to point out that Battlefield Earth was written by the L Ron Hubbard, and he is also known as the guy who created Scientology.

I'm a Xbox 360 junkie. I play Battlefield and Halo respectively.

Also, has anyone here played "Braid"? That game rocked my world almost as much as Shadow of the Colossus did!

I completely agree with you. The critics can be too harsh sometimes. I remember one went as far as to say Ender was "comparable to Hitler".

Speaker all the way. Card is at his best when dealing with moral issues, a prevelant topic in the Speaker series (afterall, Xenocide doesn't mean alien genocide for nothing). The characters were extremely well done, with relationships that took several books to flourish, but it felt more gratifying ...

Alex Pettyfer would be a good Dink in my opinion. The only movie I ever saw him in was the film adaptation of the Alex Rider: Stormbreaker book. I know Dink wasn't from England, but whatever.
Rubina Ali, who played the yongest virsion of Latika from Slumdog Millionaire, could play a young Virlomi.

Shadows in Flight

I read in thi article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shadows_in_flight) that OSC is writting a much needed sequel to Children of the Mind. I was wondering what the community wanted in it, and some confirmation that this isn't just another Wiki-hoax.

Glory - 9 out of 10 I recently watched this for an English class project, and was thoroughly impressed by the cast and dialouge. The main plot focusses around the first colored (ie: African American) regiment in the U.S. Army durring the American Civil War. The leader of the regiment is Colonel Robe...

I remember Dr. Stephen Hawkin (cool guy in a wheel chair with the robotic voice) said it was a stupid idea to include a plaque with a star map of the coordinates of Earth engraved in it. If aliens ever found it, they could be led straight to Earth. Sucks for us.

The Russians probably wanted to take him before any other country took him, like China for example. And plus, if you could have another military genius, even if he was insane, wouldn't you take him? A good example of an insane military leader who still got the job done was William Tecumseh of the Am...

I always thought it was a reference to how in the game of life it seems that one is always controlled by another.
