I've read Bone. I've seen the kids I sub for read Bone. I knew of Bone because I used to read Disney Adventures and they had the first chapter in it.
I don't know how people my age don't know about Bone, but I know Elementary age kids know about it.

John Dies at the End By David Woo I think you mean David Wong. Awesome story. Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World . MURAKAMI Haruki. Surreal and great. Ah, yes. Thanks. I changed it in my post. Yeah, I've read the Prologue and first chapter and I laughed through most of it. Does anyone ...

Well...it's really a matter of how discreet the parents were. If the pictures were not out in the open (such as within a different section of their pictures, clearly marked with a warning) then MySpace shouldn't have anything to say about it. Or if the account was set to Private, in which case only ...

I use it for one thing: Mobster. Can't get enough of that game. My account was made one day, forgot about it, came back later and dressed it up and then use it only as a glorified e-mail account. I will say one good thing about it: I reconnected with two cousins of mine through it. I've never known ...

I saw Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone ON Christmas the year it was in theaters. That's why they appeal to me as fall/winter movies. I think part of it is that Rowling typically makes a big deal about the winter months in her books and that translates to films, so it gives more of a wintery feel...

I have to be perfectly honest with you...I read like one or two books for school and that's about it. Oh, I was assigned others, but you see...I was the kind of person that brought my own books to school. I made a teacher mad one year because I sat and read my own book instead of the one she had ass...

Back when my library left cards in their books when people checked them out, I stumbled upon a book with its card left in there and took it to the front desk. They had to check in it because it was on the bookshelf still checked out to the poor bastard. He may have done it himself or it was a librar...

I have questions... Everyone: How did you find this site? What novel turned you on to the Bean/Enderverse? What about that novel did you like? How old were you when you read that novel? Did it mean something to you the first time you read it? or did it take a few reads? If you read EG first did you...

I'm rereading White Night by Jim Butcher, the 9th book in The Dresden Files. I've been rereading these since March. Took a break in early April to read the new one, Small Favor, but when right back to the rereading a week later after I finished it. I seem to remember reading a couple of books somewh...

I saw it for the second time yesterday. Man, it really is an awesome movie! I really don't see how any superhero movie can top this one. I like the Batman voice, even though it does indeed sound rough on the throat. All the good portrayals of Batman have him using distinctly different voices for Br...

regarding the batman voice, one thing I didn't realize until the second viewing. He has a scene with Lucius Fox when he's already suited up and even though Lucius knows who he is, he still uses the Batman voice. It's indicating that he makes a complete transition into another person as Batman, he's...

My name is Micah McNully. I think somewhere out there, Zero just exploded. You know, with the whole paranoia over privacy and stuff. You just blew his mind. I think I know the full names of most of the long time members of this board, and I'm pretty sure they know mine. I have a theory that Zero is...

I agree with Harley Quinn as a copycat, but Catwoman isn't a vigilante or even a superhero. She's a cat burglar. It took some time (I think) for Batman to get her to that point. But I think they need to focus on the duel identity relationships of Batman/Catwoman and Bruce Wayne/Selina Kyle in the mo...

The way I figure it is that they shouldn't be looking there anyway if they're guys and if they're girls...feel honored. I mean...I know that's a weird way to look at the situation, but I don't think there's any reason to be embarrassed. Sometimes you're sleepy, sometimes you have to pee, sometimes y...

Ugh...sometimes I wonder why my parents were thinking. My name is Micah McNully. I have to spell BOTH names to the people on the phone rather than just my last name. If it was one or the other, that'd be fine, but BOTH? Give me a break. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people try and spell my na...

I think the Riddler could also be a good character, without Jim Carrey this time and with the addition of the original Riddler sidekick, Harley Quinn Harley Quinn is Joker's sidekick. You caught me. Got that one mixed up. A combination of no sleep and more no sleep. Thanks for catching it. PS, Jaso...
