I've read Bone. I've seen the kids I sub for read Bone. I knew of Bone because I used to read Disney Adventures and they had the first chapter in it.

I don't know how people my age don't know about Bone, but I know Elementary age kids know about it.

John Dies at the End By David Woo I think you mean David Wong. Awesome story. Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World . MURAKAMI Haruki. Surreal and great. Ah, yes. Thanks. I changed it in my post. Yeah, I've read the Prologue and first chapter and I laughed through most of it. Does anyone ...

Finished rereading The Dresden Files series. Now I'm reading: For School: "The Glass Menagerie" by Tennessee Williams (which I'm enjoying, surprisingly enough) and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll. For Fun: John Dies at the End By David Wong Does anyone know why they call it Alice i...

Well...it's really a matter of how discreet the parents were. If the pictures were not out in the open (such as within a different section of their pictures, clearly marked with a warning) then MySpace shouldn't have anything to say about it. Or if the account was set to Private, in which case only ...

I use it for one thing: Mobster. Can't get enough of that game. My account was made one day, forgot about it, came back later and dressed it up and then use it only as a glorified e-mail account. I will say one good thing about it: I reconnected with two cousins of mine through it. I've never known ...

I saw Sorcerer's Stone/Philosopher's Stone ON Christmas the year it was in theaters. That's why they appeal to me as fall/winter movies. I think part of it is that Rowling typically makes a big deal about the winter months in her books and that translates to films, so it gives more of a wintery feel...

I have to be perfectly honest with you...I read like one or two books for school and that's about it. Oh, I was assigned others, but you see...I was the kind of person that brought my own books to school. I made a teacher mad one year because I sat and read my own book instead of the one she had ass...

Back when my library left cards in their books when people checked them out, I stumbled upon a book with its card left in there and took it to the front desk. I have questions... Everyone: How did you find this site? What novel turned you on to the Bean/Enderverse? What about that novel did you like? How old were you when you read that novel? Did it mean something to you the first time you read it? or did it take a few reads? If you read EG first did you...

I grew up in Texas. It's coke here. It was weird, I went to Oklahoma recently and my aunt, cousins, grandparents, and such asked me if I wanted a pop. I blinked at them and was taken aback for a moment, but eventually got used to it that week a spent there.

I saw it for the second time yesterday. Man, it really is an awesome movie! I really don't see how any superhero movie can top this one. My name is spelled S-H-A-W-N. Not S-E-A-N. I hate it when people spell it the latter way. It is Shawn, not "Seen".

I also had a brother from my KH calling me "Shane" for the longest time.
You're not Shaun, either?

(I had never seen the spelling of that name before the movie Shaun of the Dead.)

I've heard that theory before and quite frankly, I think it's stretching it a bit. My explanation is that that's the voice of Batman and he doesn't go back to Wayne until the cowl comes off. (Or unless he's taking a call for Bruce Wayne while he's dressed as Batman.)

regarding the batman voice, one thing I didn't realize until the second viewing. He has a scene with Lucius Fox when he's already suited up and even though Lucius knows who he is, he still uses the Batman voice. It's indicating that he makes a complete transition into another person as Batman, he's...

The early comics refer to him as "The Batman" and there's even a recent cartoon called "The Batman." I admit, it was irritating at first for me to hear people on various Batman shows to add the word "the" in front of his name, but as time went by, I got used to it. For the most part, "The Batman" be...

I agree with Harley Quinn as a copycat, but Catwoman isn't a vigilante or even a superhero. She's a cat burglar. It took some time (I think) for Batman to get her to that point. My only explanation, Zeroguy is that he was there when two others left and he didn't realize it and they had already been long gone before you got there and the guy had to piss like a racehorse. I've been caught in that situation before and it feels awkward.
