The NFL Draft

Most of you wishy-washy hippies, wheezy nerds and Canadians probably don't care, but the NFL Draft is coming up this weekend and those who follow the greatest sport ever created are feeling the buzz. My Packers seem to be on track to draft Marshawn Lynch out of Cal, joining fellow Golden Bear Aaron ...

The FCC always reminds me of this Family Guy musical-scene. Most of the other Family Guy musicals are great too, but this one is fantastic.

Dear Bob, After a hopeful start, my flailing struggles in learning the language have been disappointing lately. I can't keep my mind focused on the tasks at hand; whenever I'm supposed to be practicing speech I get restless and my mind wanders. When I'm supposed to be practicing writing or learning ...

I think it can work both ways. In Slim's case, cultural proximity to a particular religion obviously drew him closer; whereas people like myself, from-birth immersion in a particular sect drove me away from it.

What, no prince costume for the groom? Oh right, I forgot, the wedding is the bride's special day, she gets to be a princess. Why can't the guy get a costume though? I mean, if his bride's gonna dress up as Sleeping Beauty, the least they can do is have him go as Prince Charming. Although, if I wer...

First of all, cracking down on poker is just stupid. especially with SWAT teams. This is just as bad as the law banning internet poker. However, I must disagree with you on one point. You seem to have the idea that there is some concentrated, planned effort to transform America into a police state....

That's the way I see it, Jota. To consciously bring a child into the world and force a disability upon them is an act of pure selfishness. I know I've talked about the value of self-interested action in the past, but to force another individual (a child no less, who gets no voice in the matter) to l...

You don't need to buy the conspiracy theories to know that what's happening is wrong. The government doesn't need a conspiracy to indefinitely shelve marijuana - just the ridiculous sensibilities of Americans and their incredible ability to collectively ignore things.

Names are things that other people give you. I wouldn't ask anyone to change their name on my behalf. Not only would it be irrelevant to the relationship, but adhering to custom...
